Technical Information
-
In the notes, standard black text is what I
write on the board and ask my students to write in their notebooks. I (at
least try to) draw all the figures on the blackboard.
-
[Blue text between
square brackets] is what I can not write on the blackboard because I
don't have enough time.
-
{Green text between
curly brackets} is what I want to say to the teacher.
Teaching notes
-
There are more than needed exercises, I do
not solve all in one class. The order of exercises constitute the guideline
for assigning homework and preparing worksheets.
-
The PDF files you will find are not intended
to be chapters of a physics book. Solutions to exercises are not included
unless I am suggesting a different line of reasoning.
-
But still I hope the theoretical parts and
choice of the examples will be able to help a high school student organize
the subject matter in his/her mind, along with providing study material.
-
The purpose of this site is to share experience
with physics teachers. I will be happy if you are a teacher (or a
student) and find my notes useful.
Disclaimer
-
There can be all kinds of errors in the notes,
though I hope at least the theoretical explanations are correct. Naturally I
can not guarantee that. You can never be sure with physics.
-
You may find some explanations oversimplified,
but this is high school physics, sometimes being understood is more
important than being exact.
